Abstract

This chapter will address the actions aimed at the most specialized part of the Military Police, demonstrating that the efforts made during 2023 contributed to the reduction of crime rates and to the closer relationship between the Institution and the society of Pará. The Specialized Policing Command (CPE) works on numerous fronts, such as the protection of barracks and public buildings, security on state highways, support for tourists, policing focused on schools and surrounding areas, rural areas, children and adolescents at risk and women victims of domestic and family violence.
