Abstract

Admission to the Pará Military Police is through a public selection process for all positions in the Corporation, namely: Enlisted Personnel Training Course (CFP), Officer Training Course (CFO) and Officer Adaptation Course (CADO). The number of vacancies is defined with percentages for males and females, according to the needs of the Administration.

The PMPA has a staff of 16,307 active-duty military police officers, corresponding to 6.86% of Officers and 93.14% of Enlisted Personnel, distributed as follows: 939 Officers (Colonel, Lieutenant Colonel, Major, Captain, 1st Lieutenant and 2nd Lieutenant), 224 special Enlisted Personnel (Aspirant Officer, Student Officer and Enlisted Personnel Training Course Student) and 15,144 Enlisted Personnel (Sub-Lieutenant, 1st Sergeant, 2nd Sergeant, 3rd Sergeant, Corporal and Private).
