Abstract

The General Staff (EMG) is the General Management body responsible for enforcing the Commander's orders, planning, coordinating, organizing, controlling and supervising all activities of the Corporation with the help of the preparation of doctrine, resolutions, guidelines, plans and orders. In addition to advising the Command in strategically thinking about the PMPA, analyzing scenarios, observing current situations and preparing studies to support decision-making in matters related to the areas of personnel, legislation, intelligence, knowledge management, operations, education, logistics, technology, communication, budget and quality, in line with the institutional mission and the public security and social defense policy of the State, through the seven sections that comprise it.

The EMG is headed by Colonel QOPM Marcelo Ronald Botelho de Souza and has Colonel QOPM Silvio Rogério Franco de Araújo as deputy chief. The headquarters are located at the General Command Headquarters.
