Abstract

The General Inspectorate is the inspectorate of the Military Police of Pará, responsible for providing guidance, prevention, and monitoring of the functional activities and professional conduct of its members. At the same time, it is responsible for effectively and efficiently promoting the faithful compliance with the specific legislation that governs military police activity, contributing to increasing credibility, institutional legitimacy, and trust in the Corporation.

The Internal Affairs Department, directly linked to the General Commander, operates throughout the territory, through the Intermediate Operational Commands Internal Affairs Commissions (COINT) with a total staff of 268 military police officers. The Inspectorate is headed by Colonel QOPM Ricardo André Bilóia da Silva and its headquarters are located at Avenida Magalhães Barata, no. 1,005, in the Nazaré neighborhood, in Belém.
