Abstract

The 2023 Yearbook aims to present to internal and external audiences the results achieved by the Pará Military Police during the year, relating the performance of each sector to the objectives and action strategies outlined in the institutional Strategic Plan for the period 2015 to 2025. It is an instrument that condenses the strategic initiatives in each area, from the planning of the operational use of ostensive policing, under the jurisdiction of the General Department of Operations, to essentially preventive actions, related to training, communication, among others. Each department, section and subsection of the Corporation has specific attributions. When each one is demonstrated and associated with the reason for being of the PMPA, which is the preservation of order in favor of the collective well-being, value is added to the knowledge produced by these sectors.
