The large number of academic papers produced by military police officers from Pará, especially in the last two decades, demonstrates the efforts of the force and its members to seek professional development. However, little use is made of this set of analyses within the police organization; it is believed that this is mainly due to the studies being deposited in academic repositories and generally receiving little or no dissemination. In response, the High Command devised the idea of ​​periodically publishing a space suitable for gathering scientific papers related to pressing issues of public security in the state and, in particular, of the Military Police of Pará.
