Educação ambiental no contexto escolar: uma experiência com o Clube de Atividades no Programa de Supervisão Militar Educacional – PSUME/PMPA.

This study was conducted in partnership with the National Network of Graduate Programs for the Teaching of Environmental Sciences (PROFCIAMB/UFPA), which investigated the Educational Military Supervision Program (PSUME/PMPA), with an emphasis on the inclusion of pedagogical activities focused on teaching environmental sciences in formal school settings. The interdisciplinary work highlights the role of the Pará State Military Police as an agent promoting environmental education for 5th-9th grade students at the Padre Pietro Gerosa School, located in the Aurá neighborhood of Ananindeua, Pará. The initiative is anchored in State Law No. 9,981/23, which regulates the development of environmental debate in public schools and promotes institutional partnerships to strengthen environmental education in Pará. The activities developed by PSUME, such as visits to Utinga State Park and the School Tour, provided students with playful and reflective experiences with the environment, reinforcing awareness and the adoption of good sustainable practices in various contexts.
